Executive Management Services

Under OAR 259-060-0130, any bar, nightclub or venue in the state of Oregon that employs security is required to have a DPSST licensed Executive Manager. Matador offers this service.

The fees for this service depend on the number of security staff a venue employ. For exact pricing, please feel free to contact us.

As your acting Executive Manager, Matador will provide you with the following services...

• Security Executive Management – Matador Academy will act as your venue's DPSST Executive Manager
• Security Staff Management – Matador will take over the management of your security staff including but not limited to…
  • Hiring and Firing of security staff members
  • Scheduling security staff for regular work and special events
  • Taking care of any disciplinary actions regarding the security staff
  • Tracking of all security staff certifications and training
• Free Associate Membership – Each of your security staff members, current and future, as long as Matador is your Executive Manager, will automatically receive a free associate membership and have the setup fees waived.
• Certification/Training Tracking – Matador will maintain the training and certification records of your security staff and make sure they are always current and notify staff as their licenses are about to expire.
• Free Unarmed Basic DPSST Classes – We offer full basic DPSST classes once per month. Any new staff members who need full classes in order to work on the security team will receive these classes for free. This does not include the fees associated with applications and owed to DPSST.
• Active Supervisor Checks – A licensed Supervisor or Executive Manger from our staff will check on your security staff several times a month, while they are working to make sure every thing is running correctly.
• Discounted Personal Seminars – Venues that request personal training seminars for their staff will receive a discount on instruction.
